تَرَدَّى (falls): When he goes down in the Fire. The Arabic word means to fall from a mountain or inside a well.

When a human perishes and falls in Hell fire, his money will not avail him or save him. Allah (swt) says:

 {وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَابِيَهْ % وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ % يَا لَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ الْقَاضِيَةَ % مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهْ ۜ % هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلْطَانِيَهْ }

(But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, “Oh, I wish I had not been given my record % And had not known what is my account. % I wish my death had been the decisive one. %  My wealth has not availed me. % Gone from me is my authority.”)
(Al-Haaqaa: 25-29)

 {تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ % مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ }

(May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.% His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.) (Al-Massad: 1-2)

Hence, money, children and all that a person owns will not avail anyone on judgement day and no one can buy a place in the Paradise with the any money he owns. Allah (swt) says:

 {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ وَقُودُ النَّارِ }

(Indeed, those who disbelieve – never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. And it is they who are fuel for the Fire.) (Ali-Imran: 10)
