( وَقَالُوا مَا فِي بُطُونِ هَٰذِهِ الْأَنْعَامِ خَالِصَةٌ لِّذُكُورِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِنَا) (And they say, “What is in the bellies of these animals is exclusively for our males and forbidden to our females): They also claimed falsely that what was in the wombs of these cattle such as milk and fetuses were strictly allowed for men and forbidden for women.

( وَإِن يَكُن مَّيْتَةً فَهُمْ فِيهِ شُرَكَاءُ ) (But if it is [born] dead, then all of them have shares therein.): If anything from the wombs died, both men and women would share in eating it.

( سَيَجْزِيهِمْ وَصْفَهُمْ ) (He will punish them for their description.): They soon will endure retribution and punishment for what they claimed, what they deliberately lied about Allah (swt), and for manipulating prohibitions and commands.

( إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ) (Indeed, He is Wise and Knowing): Allah (swt) sets things straight. He (swt) knows these people’s motives behind allowing this and forbidding that. Indeed, all these were driven by their whims.
