وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ

الآية رقم (9) - وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يِظْلِمُونَ

(9) - (And those whose scales are light - they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses.)

People who have fewer good deeds and more bad deeds have led themselves astray because they preferred desires over everlasting Paradise.

( بِمَا كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَظْلِمُونَ ) (for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses): They were doing themselves injustice by not accepting nor following Allah’s (swt) path.
