In the three aforementioned three verses, Allah (swt) says about the human being that he/she (was created anxious). However, here He (swt) makes an exception:
( إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ ) (Except the observers of prayer): When we read the Holy Quran we find that every account about the human beings as isolated from Allah’s Guidance denotes evil, as in His (swt) saying:
وَالْعَصْرِ (1) إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
(By time, (1) Indeed, mankind is in loss,) (Al-‘Asr: 1-2)
In general, the human beings are in loss, but who will be saved from the loss? Here comes the answer:
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
(Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.) (Al-‘Asr: 3)
Every Quranic account of the human being, in the general sense, speaks about evil aspect, but what is it that saves them? It is following Allah’s Guidance, which is stated here in these two verses (22-23) which represent the first element of the Divine Guidance. We observe that the Prayer, among the obligations of Allah (swt), comes first. Prayer only emanates from belief in Allah (swt), His Books and His Messengers, so that there is no need to mention faith.
( الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ) (Those who are constant in their prayer): They perform the prayer once they are called for, day and night. They are constant in their prayer and establish it carefully without wasting. Noting that Prayer is an act representing relation with Allah (swt) and it is the first Pillar of Islam, as it is the salvation from the Helfire. In this regard, Allah (swt) says:
مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِي سَقَرَ (42) قَالُوا لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ
([And asking them], “What put you into Saqar?” (42) They will say, “We were not of those who prayed,) (Al-Mud-dather: 42-43)
Constant performing of the Prayers depicts stability. It is worthy mentioning that the most pleasing acts to Allah (swt) are the most regular ones even if they are little, as the Prophet (saws) mentioned.
Then, Allah (swt) gives us another pillar of His Guidance, saying:
