(8) - (That He should establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even if the criminals disliked it.)

(That He should establish the truth): This is the second truth, which is the victory of Islam.

( وَيُبْطِلَ الْبَاطِلَ ) (and abolish falsehood): The falsehood refers to polytheism in the Arabic peninsula.

( وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ ) (even if the criminals disliked it): Those criminals are the ones who committed aggression, killed, violated the freedom of belief, and plundered the Muslims, taking away their wealth, homes, and land. Allah (swt) says:

(( 39 ) Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory. ( 40 ) [They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right – only because they say, “Our Lord is Allah.”) (Al-Hajj: 39-40)
