(6) - (Arguing with you concerning the truth after it had become clear, as if they were being driven toward death while they were looking on.)

(Arguing with you concerning the truth after it had become clear): They argued with the Prophet (saws) after the truth was revealed to him (saws). Allah (swt) promised him (saws) victory as says:

([Remember, O believers], when Allah promised you one of the two groups – that it would be yours) (Al-Anfaal: 7)

Indeed, Allah’s (swt) Promise is Absolute.

( كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى الْمَوْتِ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ) (as if they were being driven toward death while they were looking on): As a result of the numerous number and military equipment of the polytheists, it appeared as if this group of believers were being driven towards death without their own volition. However, they did not waver in their faith despite the substantial difference according to human standards.
