الآية رقم (151) - قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

(151) - ([Moses] said, "My Lord, forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the most merciful of the merciful.")

Prophet Moses (PBUH) knew that he was driven by anger, so he said: ( رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي) (“My Lord, forgive me and my brother).

([Moses] said, “My Lord, forgive): He invoked Allah (swt) to forgive his sin.

(me and my brother): He included his brother with him (PBUT) in the prayer.

( وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ ) (and admit us into Your mercy): He not only asked for Allah’s (swt) Forgiveness, but to also bestow His (swt) Mercy and endless Blessings upon them.

( وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ ) (for You are the most merciful of the merciful): Allah (swt) spreads mercy among mankind so that a person is merciful towards his children; indeed, Allah (swt) is the Most Merciful.
