(144) - ([Allah] said, "O Moses, I have chosen you over the people with My messages and My words [to you]. So take what I have given you and be among the grateful.")

( قَالَ يَا مُوسَىٰ إِنِّي اصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ) ([Allah] said, “O Moses, I have chosen you over the people): It means the selectin of the elite or the chosen ones.

( بِرِسَالَاتِي ) (with My messages): All Messages constituted a single message.

( وَبِكَلَامِي) (and My words [to you]): The distinction between Prophet Moses (PBUH) and other Prophets is that Allah (swt) spoke directly to him (PBUH), whereas the rest of the Prophets did not have that privilege.

( فَخُذْ مَا آتَيْتُكَ ) (So take what I have given you): It is enough for Prophet Moses (PBUH) to take what Allah (swt) has given him and to not look at what has been prevented from him (PBUH).

( وَكُن مِّنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ ) (and be among the grateful): He (PBUH) should be grateful for this great blessing; to be spoken to by Allah (swt).
