(123) - (Said Pharaoh, "You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, this is a conspiracy which you conspired in the city to expel therefrom its people. But you are going to know.)

(Said Pharaoh, “You believed in him before I gave you permission): He said it with great anger, as if faith required permission, whereas faith does not need a permission from anyone because it is not compulsory, rather it is a matter of choice; it is in the heart, and needs a sound mind.

( إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَّكَرْتُمُوهُ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوا مِنْهَا أَهْلَهَا ) (Indeed, this is a conspiracy which you conspired in the city to expel therefrom its people): Pharao accused the magicians to have staged the event with Prophet Moses (PBUH). He accused Prophet Moses (PBUH) of being the master of the sorcerers. He also claimed that they plotted this conspiracy in secrecy to expel the people of Israel, as if these people were living with Pharaoh without enduring the severe oppression they suffered under his rule.

(But you are going to know): He threatened them of what he will do to them.
