الآية رقم (101) - تِلْكَ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَآئِهَا وَلَقَدْ جَاءتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللّهُ عَلَىَ قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ

(101) - (Those cities - We relate to you, [O Muhammad], some of their news. And certainly did their messengers come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus does Allah seal over the hearts of the disbelievers.)

( تِلْكَ الْقُرَىٰ  ) (Those cities): All these countries.

( نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَائِهَا ) (We relate to you, [O Muhammad], some of their news): Their news indicates their significant stories.

( وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ) (And certainly did their messengers come to them with clear proofs): The (clear proof) either represents the Messages that brought forth the truth, or the miracles like the she-camel of Prophet Salih (PBUH), the ship of Prophet Noah (PBUH), and others.

( فَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا بِمَا كَذَّبُوا مِن قَبْلُ) (but they were not to believe in that which they had denied before): They previously denied belief in Allah (swt), so a Messenger or a Prophet was sent to them to clarify matters for them, but they rejected them (PBUT) and persisted in their disbelief and misguidance.

( كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ ) (Thus does Allah seal over the hearts of the disbelievers): These individuals had their hearts sealed because of their sins as they did not heed to Directional Guidance. Allah (swt) made the path clear for them but they refused, persisted, and denied the truth, before the Message was conveyed to them and even after they received it.
