( فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ) (And he turned away from them): Prophet Shu’ayb (PBUH) walked away and left them when he (PBUH) saw how they were wiped out, and he said the same thing as the Prophets before him, which is:

( لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ) (I had certainly conveyed to you): He said that he has conveyed Allah’s (swt) Message to them.

( رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّي ) (the messages of my Lord): (Messages) refers to his Message and the Messages of the previous Messengers. It may also refer to each one of Allah’s (swt) orders are also considered as a Message.

( وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ ) (Lord and advised you): (Advising) is more frequent than (conveying); since advice involves repetition and a constant effort to guide them.

( فَكَيْفَ آسَىٰ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ ) (so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?): “How can I feel sad for a people who disbelieved?”.
