(25) - (He said, "Therein you will live, and therein you will die, and from it you will be brought forth.")

With few brief verses, Allah (swt) presents the journey of life for the sons of Adam. On earth, Allah (swt) says:

(He said, “Therein you will live, and therein you will die, and from it you will be brought forth.), and said:

(And for you on the earth is a place of settlement and enjoyment for a time), and said:

(From the earth We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will extract you another time) (Taha: 55)

This is the fact about the journey of life between birth and death. Allah (swt) says about death:

((1) Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent (2) [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving) (Al-Mulk)

Both death and life are creatures. Death in the above-mentioned verse is mentioned before life to show that what comes after death is actually the main part in our lives and that the human being between life and death is on a journey of life. (From the earth We created you): Which is the soil of earth, (and into it We will return you): human beings will be buried under that same soil, this is why we honor the dead by burying them as we are giving them back to mother earth. Returning human beings back to the soil of earth is the first step. At the moments of saying our goodbyes to the dead person and while putting his body under the ground, anyone saying their farewell realizes that this is also his inevitable faith, even if he at times deliberately ignores that realization, but he is also aware that he will never be able to escape that fate. Everyone will meet this fate eventually, whether young or old, healthy or sick, strong or weak, a leader or a servant:

((26) Everyone upon the earth will perish,

(27) And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.) (Ar-Rahman)

This is the Divine Law which neither Prophets nor anyone else can escape from. Allah (swt) says:

(Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die.) (Az-Zumur: 30)

( وَمِنْهَا تُخْرَجُونَ) (and from it you will be brought forth): We will rise from underneath the earth on the Day of Resurrection.
