الآية رقم (68) - أُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسَالاتِ رَبِّي وَأَنَاْ لَكُمْ نَاصِحٌ أَمِينٌ

(68) - (I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy adviser.)

Allah (swt) tells us what Prophet Hud (PBUH) said to his people:

( وَأَنَا لَكُمْ نَاصِحٌ أَمِينٌ) (and I am to you a trustworthy adviser), while in the story of Prophet Noah (PBUH), he says: (I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you). There is an important point: Allah (swt) when speaking about the Prophet Noah (PBUH), He (swt) uses the verb to indicate giving advice; however, when He Speaks about the Prophet (Hud) He (swt) uses the noun (adviser). Why is that? In Arabic grammar, using the noun indicates that there is no motion or movement. While using a verb, (advise) indicates frequent  repetition. Allah (swt) tells us about Prophet Noah (PBUH):

 وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ

(And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.) (Al-Ankaboot: 14)
