This is the first story in the Holy Qur’an. It is the story of the first creation, the creation of Sayyidina Adam u The Father of Mankind.
Stories form three quarters of the holy Qur’an. The purpose of the stories is not just for entertainment. This differs from the purpose of the stories of human beings which are usually for amusement and entertainment or to give some information or as a culture.
However, the Qur’anic stories does not have a purpose other than to trace happenings. This is because, there is a link between the meanings of the Words of Allah U and the understanding of the Arabic Language. There is also a link between the Arabic Language and Islam, as Allah says:
﴾إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآناً عَرَبِيّاً لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ﴿
“Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an that you might understand.” [Surah Yusuf: 2].
Allah U says:
﴾إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْقَصَصُ الْحَقُّ﴿
“Indeed, this is the true narration.” [Surah Ali ‘Imran: 62].
